Urgent Care :: strange colour!?

hey Guys i found these 2 brown spots yesterday i dont know and i dont remember if they were there before or not i guess not because if it was i coud see it maybe i wasnt looking so carefully anyway i wanted to ask what are there if there is something dangerous so i do something
the turtle looks normal and healthy but these i was woried maybe there is an infection or something?

looks like it could be the beginnings of inflammation. Might want to get to a vet because that's the right spot for an ear abscess.

Before you run to the vet, have you tried rubbing it off? I've seen something similar on my turtle a few months ago and I kinda panicked at first because I thought it was an ear abscess. But after a little struggle, I finally managed to keep the turtle's head extended and at the same time use a q-tip on the stained area. In the end, I think it was a piece of skin that was shed and somehow got trapped in the creases around the neck.

no i didnt tried actually i got scared,...ok so i will try to do the same as u did hopefully it goes away...so thanks so much for ur help i will try it
