Thanks guys.

It's very hard to lose a pet. But to lose one that has been around since you were a little child is very uncommon! (I'm 36)

Many people find it peculiar how I spend so much time and energy with my turtles, how I love to hand feed them, how I cry when they are ill or die.

But in this forum, there is something special - we all love these small animals - and that's helping me cope with the loss.
