i really have no idea..just randomly he will be sitting there with one eyed closed and one eye open

and then another time both will be open

this is very confusing

I've seen mine do this when they're trying to sleep. They have one eye open from time to time to see where I am and what I'm doing if I'm in the room. But I don't think this could be the case with yours. (could it?)
