yeah, I know that now. She has a lot of water in there and she loves it! She had water before, just not enough I guess.

I believe the turtle that died from impaction in the other post I mentioned (you might search for it) had had gravel in the tank for a number of years as well...

Yep, have to feed your turtle in the water, as sonyj said, they can't eat out of water because they have no saliva nor does their tongue move. You can put their food on their dock but they will have to take it into the water to actually eat it. The water should be deep enough so that the turtle can fully immerse themselves and be able to see the food floating on the top. They have rather lousy eyesight lol

Try Tuna Fish their is a post by me I was scared that Buddy wasn't eating and I asked the members about it and they said Tuna Fish but if she won't eat out of the water then I suggest you put it on the dock.Tuna fich can be very mesessy though.
