What have you been trying to feed it? Pellets (Large, small), vegetables, tried small amount of boiled chicken which was eaten eagerly, tried a couple small feeder goldfish today. Usually goes nuts but this time investigated briefly and then ignored them.
When was the last time your turtle ate? 3 days ago, boiled chicken meat.

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? Won't eat regular foods, extremely restless (swimming wildly against glass, floor. Trying to climb out of tank constantly), scraping at tail area with back feet, as described when ready to lay eggs.
Ok, so there's a a bunch of information up there. But, as described, I've had this turtle for a long time and she (learned how to sex them in the last couple years) has never laid, and never shown signs of wanting to lay like this before.
Today I went out and got a rubbermaid-like container, filled with sand and dampened it, hoping this would be what the doctor ordered.
No luck, turtle acts the exact same in the tank and in the nesting area, constantly trying to escape.
Have also tried letting it have the run of the house for an hour or two daily, nothing's working.
Seems like she has quite a bit of energy for having not eaten regularly in almost a week.
I don't know what else to do, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
