I woke up this morning and my turtle is laying eggs at a rapid rate. There is around 12-15 eggs and probably more. The turtle is sitting half on the floating rock and dropping them into the water. What should I do with the eggs? Should I leave them in the tank or separate them?

take them out of the tank. you are lucky that she is laying them or dropping them as the case may be. How big are they? Can you take a picture? Good luck :)

They're about an 1 inch or so in size. I took them out of the tank. What type of environment should I keep them in?

Some of the eggs cracked and have a yellow "yolk like" material in them. Are these eggs fertilized?

I would not suggest trying to hatch them. There are way too many RES and everyone requires a tremendous amount of work and care. If you would like another, might I suggest you adopt one.

Is there a male in the tank? Could the turtle have been with a male in the last few years? If the answer is no, then the eggs are not fertile.
Just to be sure, crack them, and dispose of them.Even if they were fertile, incubating eggs successfully is not an easy task.

I would say if the eggs are cracking as there being laid to your turtle did not get enough calcium and the eggs are thin shelled and that makes the chances of them hatching if they were fertile even more unsuccessful

You are darn lucky that she decided to lay them as opposed to retain them. In the future, keep an eye out for the warning signs.
