[I would like to know what if anything can be done for my female red eared slider. She has a itching problem, and constantly using her floating dock to itch her back. She isn't shedding, so not sure why, any ideas???

She may be in the process of just starting to shed (which you don't notice) and is trying to help loosen scutes.

yes, it most likely is the beginning stages of her shedding. it's most probably nothing to worry about.

I agree with the others. Probably just getting ready to shed! It's completely normal!
