Urgent Care :: my turtle laid some eggs! help, im new to this

my turtle laid eggs, (i didn't even know she laid some because i was in school) and i think she laid it underwater..i don't know what to do to her, and where should i take care of the eggs? where should i put it? (it happened just an hour ago..i think..)

How big is your turtle? about 5 inches
How long have you had it? 1 year

What is the water temperature? normal
Did you use a thermometer? no
Are you using a water heater? no
How much water is in there?
Are you using a water conditioner? no
Are you using any filtration? no

What is the basking temperature? i don't know, it's natural sunlight
Is there a basking light? none, except sunlight
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? rocks
Is there a UVB light? no

What have you been trying to feed it? fish
When was the last time your turtle ate? earlier

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? big
Is the tank near a window? no
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? no

Have you read the Basic Care section? yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? yes

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? no, she's just laid some eggs xD

First does this female have a male with it? If no, throw eggs out because there no good. If its a res throw eggs out, they are way to over populated.

Also since you said they were laid in the water there no good so throw them out.

If the female is alone, the eggs are unfertilized and will never hatch. A female turtle will continue to lay eggs even without a male turtle.

Even if they are fertilized, they have to be laid on land and be incubated for any hope of survival. After an hour in the water, the best thing you can do now is throw them out.
