Urgent Care :: New here need help with 9 YR Old Turtle that seems sick...

Hi I have had my turtle for 9 years. He has always been in great health and eats rather good. For the past 2 weeks now he hasn't been eating the same and when he does eat he scratches at his neck and holds his mouth open, as if he is either chocking or gasping for air. What could this be? Thanks for any advice.

In addition to the basic questions above, has your turtle been pooping? Is there gravel or small pebbles in the tank?

Also, look at the inside of his mouth--does it look normal? Is there any kind of discharge or cheesy-looking substance in it?
