Urgent Care :: Turtle layed some eggs

My turtle just layed eggs! She ate a few of them. 2 or 3 maybe.

She laid them in water? she's probably not done, and may be retaining a few

Actually I'm not completely sure she did lay them in the water. I didn't see her lay them, and I did find the eggs in the water, but her above tank basking area is made of egg crate, and its possible the eggs just fell right through, into the tank.

Mine have done the same. Mine lay theirs on the basking dock and they'll fall into the water. It can be quite disgusting if you don't find them right away.. lol

Yeah, I noticed the tank was really cloudy, and I was alarmed because it usually doesn't cycle that badly (I had just done a 95% water change the day before to move the tank).
Also I'm thinking maybe the reason she laid 'em was because I moved the tank right next to a window, which gives a lot more light than she had before, and I also upgraded to a MVB.

Those are some huge eggs I'm not sure if light/UVB has any effect, I haven't heard of it being a factor.

Are those Scotch Brite pads being used for media?

No, that sponge just happened to be sitting on top of the tank. I use it to clean algae off.
