He is messing with fish, piging out and everything like normal.

Are you using any filtration? yes

What is the basking temperature? 90s
Is there a basking light? yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? stone
Is there a UVB light? yeah

What have you been trying to feed it? yeah
When was the last time your turtle ate? yeah but not as much

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? 60 gals
Is the tank near a window? no
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? no

Have you read the Basic Care section? yeah
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? yeah

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms?

Like today I picked up my turtle and he was making a hissing sound . If it is RI what can I do.

He only hissed when you picked him up? If it's a younger turtle, I'd wager it's hissing because it's being handled. Is there any other behaviours that make you think RI? If it is an RI you can raise temps a bit and of cousre consult a herp vet.

He is still eating but just not as much and not is it .

Hmm, after seeing your other topic mentioning the passing of your other turtle (sorry for your loss), I can see why you suspect an RI. Has your turtle hissed when you've picked it up before, or is this new behaviour? Here's some herp vets in South Carolina if you don't have a regular one.

I would suggest you take your turt in, even to just make sure it didn't catch anything from the other turtle.

Thanks for the list. But the sad thing is the one that are near do do Herbs. Before my liittle guy passed away I was going all around trying to find one. I may just have to take a road trip to one of the ones on the coast .

Well,is he lethargic?I know you said he was eating,but not as much.That could be a sign of lethargicness.Are there any other symptoms?It could be because it's winter,and most turtles don't eat and aren't as active during the winter,because of the cold.I live in Georgia,and it's gotten pretty cold here lately.I assume in Souther Caroline also,since you right above us.(I don't know if it's snowing there.Haven't watched the weather lately!)
