Urgent Care :: YAWNING ? IS THIS OK?

IVE NOTICED MY RES YAWNS IVE NEVER SEEN HER DO THIS I JUST NOTICED I DIDNT HAVE MY TEMP RIGHT IT WAS AT LIKE 70 COULD THIS BE IT? SHE DIDNT WANT TO EAT FOR TWO DAYS BUT SHES EATING NOW BUT SHES STILL YAWNING? HELP!!!!

Regular yawning isn't a symptom of any illness.

Your temp is too low. raise it to about 75* for an adult and 78* for a hatchling.

Occasional yawns are perfectly normal for a turtle. What isn't normal is frequent yawning, or gasping for air, or breathing with her mouth open.
These are all symptoms of respiratory infection. Usually when a turtle is yawning a lot or breathing with her mouth open, she is also getting lethargic and starting to lose her appetite too. another common symptom is swollen or irritated eyes.

If you've raise the water temp as was suggested, what's the temp of the basking area (should be about 10 degrees warmer than the water temp)?

whats considered an adult turtle? mine are around 1.3 yrs old and just under 4 inches in size, but i still keep their water temp at 78-80

i would call that adult. around 4 inches makes an adult i think
