Is that a cut or a growth? I can't really tell from the picture.

If its a cut, you can add some antibacterial ointment to it and keep him dry for a while after the application.

Do you know how he got injured? Was it crawling around outside the tank? If so, be careful about where you let him go, he could have lost an eye the poor guy. Turtles will fit almost anywhere, so it's important to sort of "turtle-proof" before you let them roam around

I can't tell from your picture either, but it might be an abscess of some type. Is it kind of like a little pimple? Abscesses, if they don't go away on their own, need to be drained and treated by a vet, though any vet should be able to do it, not just a herp vet. It's hard to get a zoomed in picture that small, but can you describe the injury? And your setup, as well?

I can't tell either,but from your pic. it doesn't really look like a cut it looks like a growth of some sort.If it's some sort of growth,you'll need to take it to the vet.

Does your turtle share a tank with another turtle?

Is the area raised like a blister or is the skin scraped off (can't tell from the pic)? How long has he had it? Do you know how he got it?

My RES has been cut and scraped on his head, and for these injuries, I usually washed the area with clean water, let it dry and applied Neosporin. I tended to do this in the evening, then let him stay out of the water overnight (depending on the injury) to let the ointment soak in. I did this daily until it was clear the wound was healing on it's own.

If it looks like a blister, has it changed in size at all? Has it grown bigger? Have you noticed any of those spots anywhere else on him?

If it's grown at all or otherwise changing, it would be good to have it checked out.
