Well,my cousins have a turtle, and he'll have like a milkey film over his eyes, where his eyes were open, but they had that film over it,but it's not all the time, but like I saif before it could be from many different things like a lack of vitamins, calcium, and too much or not enough of UV.

Steve, it is exactly like that! Is that normal?
2 RES hatchlings, affectionately named "Thunder" and "Lightning". Purchased in Chinatown for $6, their habitat over $500, the satisfaction that I felt when it was all set up and my turts enjoying their new home = priceless!

More or less. It can sometimes look even whiter if they are dry (from salt, minerals in the water).

Glad to hear that. I was beginning to think that there was something wrong with them. What a relief! I guess that ends the need for this post.

Thank you everyone who replied with info. It is greatly appreciated.
