I just wanted to update everyone on my red belly who was having so much trouble recovering from a dog attack in April. She was not eating, not basking and had something wrong with her eyes.

Well she is finally doing much better. I even caught her basking in full Super-Turtle position a few days ago. She is eating well, and even at the surface (those who read the original post may recall that she was only eating sinking foods). I do have to throw the food directly at her and I still lure the other 2 away so she can eat undisturbed.

I fed her some nuked sweet potato a couple of times and she and the others loved that! Figs are in full-drop mode so she's getting plenty of those as well.

Her shell is finally healing/recovering - it's weird - the exposed bone is flaking off and new shell can be seen underneath. One of the vets said this was how it would happen but I had no idea it would take 4 months to do so!

Thanks for everyone's support!
