I'm Marc, I'm a big fan of reptiles and always wanted reptiles to call my own. My uncle had many lizards during the years; skinks, iquana's, etc. I've always loved reptiles ever since I was a kid... sure they weren't the kinds of animals you could play fetch with, but I could sit and watch them for hours on end with out getting bored. Reptiles simply relax me and give me comfort.

Being a fan of ninja turtles ever since I was young (I'm still a ninja turtle fan today) I decided to get 2 turtles... one of them I seriously made a connection with, he kept looking at me from the pet store tank and swimming my direction. I named him Sydney. Since then, he's always looking at me when ever I get home from school.

the second is Don... Don is the more anti-social turtle, infact, when I got her I just had the pet store guy simply grab her and put her in the box when she wasn't looking, lol.

But, either way I love both my turtles, and I take full responcibility for them. I'm always watching them, feeding them when I'm supposed to, etc... I've had them for 2 weeks now, and hopefully I'll have them for a long time to come.
Turtles rule, but chickens are great too...

Yup, I know what you mean about sitting and watching reptiles for hours. They're definitely fascinating creatures! :)

Hey marc,
Welcome
Sounds like you take good care of your turtles so you should have no problem having them for a long long time

Welcome to the forum, Marc! I too understand what you mean about reptiles being relaxing. I can sit and watch my Rigby for hours as if I've never seen a turt before. Glad to have you here at the forum!
