im new and i just wanted to introduce myself. im about to get a RES and i
thought it would be a good idea to go on this forum. i read some topics
already from this site and i think you guys have a wide range of
experience soo yeah Wuddup!

Hey welcome, Marc! That's really nice to see someone do their research before buying a RES. Very smart move. Big thing to make sure of is that you get all the basics that are listed on the Basic Setup section. Also, if you haven't already, you should see if you can adopt a RES if there are any available near where you live. Craigslist.com also often has RES being given away for free.

Feel free to ask any questions you have. Can't wait to see your new turtle when you get one!
