Hi I'm Kevin from Vanouver BC and this is Serra, my little yellow-bellied slider. I just bought her on Saturday and she's already settling in very nicely.


Just yesterday I caught her basking on the flat rock. When I went over to take pictures, she didn't even flinch! This is a surprise to me since I've read many posts about turtles who dive into the water when someone approaches.



In her tank I have a ReptoFilter, A small heater, a UVA/UVB lamp, a normal lamp and a calcium block.
