:D Hi I am new to this board, I have 3 RESs  "Sassy", "Ms T", and  "Scooter" all female. They live in a 300(ish) gal. pond. Sassy is my oldest at 6 years. Ms. T was given to me by a neighbor who found her after a flood, and kept it in a 5 gal tank until she could no longer move. :( Scooter was aslo wild caught and given to me after a few months and her "owners" didn't realize they were so messy. She was just a baby (maybe 3" in diameter) and I didn't know if she remembered how to fend for herself in the wild so I took her. The girls live in a 300 gal. pond with a gazillion guppies/swordtails, several large comet goldfish (4"-8"), three or four koi (largest is 17" long) and two plecostomi which are about 17" long too! This summer we plan on expanding the pond to accomodate the goldfish and koi which were given to me when my brother-in-law decided to not have his pond any more. I have had Sassy about 6 years. (She is sassy too! Will not hesitate to take off a finger poked in her face! I make my nephews get a piece of celery and have them feel it, then feel their fingers and make them realize that their finger and the celery almost feel the same and then I let them put the celery in front of Sassy and she CHOMPs it and holds on and when we get it away from her the celery has a HUGE bite out of it...and they leave my turtles ALONE! Which is the point of all that!) They also think the plocostomi are whales and will swallow them. Good. Leave my pond alone when I'm not around to defend it! Mean auntie I am! Look but don't touch!

Greetings! I like the way you tought your young nephews to look but not touch! Lots of people struggle with that. I'd love to see pictures of your pond, too.
