My name is Michelle and I have a wonderful husband and daughter. We got our first RES baby the day after Thanksgiving. As many of you know, he was really sick and we recently lost him to pneumonia.
It was really rough on all of us. We were really attached to the little guy.
Anyway, after much consideration and lots of encouragement from all of you, we have just added another addition to our wonderful little family. Her name is Rascal and we have already nicknamed her Piglet.
It is amazing how different she is from Squirt!
Kristin (Industrial_Girl_2000) has been a HUGE help!!!! She met us at the pet store and helped us pick out a healthy little turtle. She has a voracious appetite! 
We brought her home and less than an hour later she had eaten 2 rosey reds! 
She is extremely active and a joy to watch. We are looking forward to a long and happy life together!
I would also like to thank all of you again. This forum is such a great resource. I am looking forward to being able to contribute in the future!
