HI Eveyone,
I am new to this board and Turtles. MY Friend just gave me 2 Red Eared Slide turtles. They are a little over a year old. I found this Site and i am Happy to be here? I am looking forward to finding out more about my 2 Little Guys!! I don't if they are Male or Female? How can you tell?

Lainee;

Welcome. You won't be able to tell if they are male or female until they are 4". Males have longer claws and tails. This site will be very useful. Read the main site as well as all the stickies in the forum, it will teach you everything you need to know about the basics of care.

Welcome Lainee. You'll also find lots of information about finding out the sex of your turtles. Just use the search feature.
