Hello RES lovers!
Posted: Wed Aug 23, 2006 3:31 pmI hope everyone is doing well, turts too! My RES is around 3 years old, maybe closer to 4. I aquired him through my daughter's boyfriend, whose little brother (age 6) had two 2" RES in one of those plastic containers with the plastic palm tree and island, yeah you know the ones 
. Before she knew he had them, one of the little guys died. When she found out, my daughter 'took' the survivor and brought him to me. I've been enjoying him ever since. My daughter named him Gandalf the Green, I call him Turty for short lol. Learning more and more on sites like these, I keep upgrading his home a little a time as I can afford. I still have more upgrading to do, as he is growing bigger and bigger. He's about 6" now. He likes to 'fan' at me a lot. Guess he thinks I'm his woman lol! I will post some pictures of him soon to share with you all.
