hi! i'm relatively new here, have been reading alot of the topics for about 2 months and recently decided to register. i came to own my baby res by my teenage son going to the mall and they were selling them for educational purposes, so he bought one and brought it home, only to get yelled at and the turtle taken away from him,( poor son lol) i call him a him only because i'm the only female in our household and i think its just habit, he's only 2-3" at best but has already grown some in the past 2 months. i've had a great time upgrading him to a 75g tank, have made some costly mistakes though, but hey you live and learn, right? at least my mistakes were money wise and did not jeopardize the turtle, an example--believing what stupid petsmart people told me this turtle would need, ha, they ripped me off, but i'm smarter for it now ( lol ) i would like to say that this forum has the biggest array of information i've found and i'm very glad i've found it, there was a lil bit that it was down, and i was so happy when i kept checking back and poof, one day it was up and running, so thank you sooo much for all the interesting posts and such that everyone that comes here does! resowner 33
