Posted: Tue May 09, 2006 6:19 amMake sure you don't put the new turtle in with your other 2 right away. You should quarantine the new turtle just to make sure that it doesn't carry any diseases to your other turtles. I'm sure you don't want 3 sick turtles..

Posted: Wed May 10, 2006 5:39 amWell I picked up the turtle, its a female and its shell is in bad shape but it has had somthing to eat and has been swimming and basking. When I put her in the tank within about 10 minutes there was scales and skin flaoting everywhere. Hopefully if she keeps good basking habits her shell will repair in time. I have read it takes 2-3 sheds before the signs of shell rot dissapear.
