Hello, i re-homed 3 red eared slider turtles from a friends roommate because they were living in a 55g with no filters, heaters, lights or anything! It is a wonder they survived...i believe I have 1 male approx 5 inches and two females 9inches. They are housed now in a 100g stock tank with a 405, uvb lamp and basking lamp, jager heater, and basking area. They are still very shy and 1 got his paw caught in the intake of the 405 i stupidly left the guard off, he has an injured foot and was non responsive when i found him. He seems fine now, lesson learned. Any advice appreciated, thanks

Welcome to the forum! Turtles are very inquisitive, you really have to make sure there in no place they can get stock in or get trapped under. Has there been any aggression from the male?
