I've been reading these forums for days before joining the site. What a ton of information! Wow! My fam and I are in IL, and have a red eared slider named Tiko. We've had him for probably about 15 years and I'm not sure how old he was when we got him. I'm guessing he was 1 or 2 at the time. He's a good chap, can be grumpy when handled, ALWAYS wants to be fed and despite my letting him get away without greens for WAY too long has been living life well!
I'm looking forward to continuing all of the interaction and reading that this place provides. Thanks!
