Posted: Wed Jun 11, 2014 6:41 pmHello. I have been keeping reptiles all my life and started keeping turtles about 10 years ago. I am also a very avid fish keeper and have one goldfish my turtles have kept as a pet. I'm currently working on a new setup for my turtles/fish that will be 10' long 6' deep and 6' tall. Yes you read that correctly. This gives me about 3000 gallons of water for 7 turtles. 2 RES, 3 northern maps, 2 yellow belly sliders. The yellow bellies come from a friend of mine who can no longer care for them properly and knows about my new habitat. My current set up is a 75 with the other 5 turtles. I know it's to small and that is why I'm working on my new set up. My largest right now is 4" and my smallest is just shy of 3". Using a fluval FX5 to filter it. They currently have about 50 gallons of water to swim around in.
