Hello. I have been keeping reptiles all my life and started keeping turtles about 10 years ago. I am also a very avid fish keeper and have one goldfish my turtles have kept as a pet. I'm currently working on a new setup for my turtles/fish that will be 10' long 6' deep and 6' tall. Yes you read that correctly. This gives me about 3000 gallons of water for 7 turtles. 2 RES, 3 northern maps, 2 yellow belly sliders. The yellow bellies come from a friend of mine who can no longer care for them properly and knows about my new habitat. My current set up is a 75 with the other 5 turtles. I know it's to small and that is why I'm working on my new set up. My largest right now is 4" and my smallest is just shy of 3". Using a fluval FX5 to filter it. They currently have about 50 gallons of water to swim around in.

Welcome to the board. I'm intrigued in what you're planning of making the tank out of. building yourself or custom?
