New RES owner here in central IL
Posted: Sat May 03, 2014 11:51 amHello all, my name is Aaron. My family just purchased 2 RES a few days ago. We are first time owners but have always loved turtles. Ķmy wife really really likes turtles). We have a 4.5" male and a 4" female. We are learning so so much about the care of these 2 new members of our family from tons of online research. Our Cats seem to enjoy watching them swim around and our 3 children love to watch them eat live food. We also found out that our local pet stores do not know enough about turtles. Lesson learned for us.
