I just adopted / rescued 4 RES. I have them in a 500 gal pond. At first they were in shock, as they were kept together in a 2 x 3 ft box for 7 years. Now they look much better, but I'm still intensively re-habing them. My current project is to get a good basking platform to use in the pond. The turtles are about 8 years old, ranging in size from 7-9 inches in shell length. I could be way off since these were abused RES really, and I don't have any info. But they are doing very well now.
