Hey everyone!! My name is Jaimee, and I just got my red ear slider two days ago. My cousin was the previous owner, he's only 14 and he really didn't take care of it much, so I convinced him to give it to me!! He got her in Florida about two years about. So I believe she is about two years old(or more) and she's only 3-4 inches. I named her Elsie(after Marilyn Monroe's character in The Prince and The Showgirl). I also have: a red-tail boa named Ruth, 6 hermit crabs, a starfish and salt-water hermit, three dogs(Missy, Gizmo, and Romeo) and two cats(Cosmic Creepers and Lily).

Welcome to turtle talk! Sounds like you have a full house, lol. I've never known anyone to keep starfish as pets. Is that something that is difficult to maintain?

lol yes quite the zoo ;] Ruth is about 3 1/2 feet
as soon as i get pictures of Elsie they'll be up!!
