Hi everyone! I am new to this forum. My boyfriend recently got a RES turtle about 2 months ago. His name is Mr. T :mrgreen: I love reading this forum to find out all the information I need!

His carapace (top shell) is about 4 1/5 in long, but I'm not sure how old he is yet. We haven't quite figured it out yet lol :)

Yeah, Bill's is about 2.5 - 3 inches, and I've had him for 8 months. He came from a person who couldn't have kept a pet alive for very long, so I'm guessing he's a year or so.

I love the look of the tank. The sand looks really nice (and safe).
Seeing him bask is a great sign!
I noticed two lights and a thermometer (couldn't tell if there was a UVB). I am guessing by the obvious care you put in to setting him up that there is one.
It certainly looks like you and Mr. T are off to a great start.
