hi my turtle is a red ear slider she is almost 2 years old and she digged herself in the plants wont come out of the dirt its been there for 2 days now i tried digging her out but she digged herself back in, why does she do this i also have another male turtle he is in the water he come our walks around and goes back in i have a heater so water is warm around 70 degrees.. i dont know if im doing anything wrong please help...

How big are these two turtles? They usually bury themselves to stay warm.
Try setting your temperature a little higher for a couple of days, between 75-79 and see if they get more active.

Hi I raised the temperature to 75 the turtles are around 4 inches The male seams to enjoy the light he looks happy raising legs and everything but the female is just going back to hide I digged her out she went into the water all morning she ate but she went back to hide is that normal or is she hiding from the male he fights sometimes looking for her face but she ignores him and he stops
He was looking for her all over the tank my tank has a pond and land with plants it's a 36 1/4"
