Hello, My name is Ryan.

I have been keeping fish for many years, but never tried turtles. A girl i work with recently gave me a couple of REDs , she just got married and said she is no longer able to proper care for them. So i took them home a couple weeks ago. and they have been a joy to my family. ... I have been learning a lot, and have a lot more to learn.

Currently I am keeping them in my big fish tank. but i do have a 65 gallon that is free ; when the time comes. for now its nice to have them in my main living room tank. my son (1.5 yrs old) loves them, and even my wife likes them (not really into my fish lol) .

Cheers. :)

Thanks alot. :)

For the time being the turtles seem to be doing well with the fish in the big tank. I have s 65 gallon tank available for the turtles when the time comes.

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes.

Cheers! :)

Very nice tank! Is there a way they can get totally out of the water to bask?
