Hi, I'm a professional animal care taker but with limited turtle experience. Someone threw a RES into one of our exhibits and I rescued it and brought it home. I think it's female, not positive though. It's about 5.5 inches long in shell length (named Sheldon). Right now I've got it in a 30 gallon aquarium with a zoomed power sun light (both were spares from my snake). I've got some questions which I'll post in the appropriate places but my husband and I are very excited about this newest family member.
