Hey guys I ordered a yellow belly slider online and it just arrived heres some pics. I named this little guy/gal Bumble Bee

You have a 7 inch turtle in a pond at least 20 gallons too small.
You have a sick turtle with what someone advised you could be a communicable RI that killed your other turtle

.... and you got another turtle?
It's a cute turtle... that just seems like a bad idea.

yes i have a 7 inch turtle in the pond. i put down the sick turtle and my other RES and YBS are in the 75 gallon tank and doing great The sick turtle didnt kill any of my other turtles the sick one was seperated

You posted a thread a few days ago saying that your surviving turtle (Dammit) was swimming funny and may have an RI, that's the one I'm talking about, not the one you had to put down. Why would you expose this new turtle to that?

i took dammit in and they said hes fine and since i bumped the water temp up hes perfectly fine now.

yes. I had dammit examined and the vet said hes fine did an xray and no fluid i raised the temps and hes fine

Seems like after this whole scenario viewtopic.php?f=5&t=30691&hilit=Butter you would be hesitant to get yet another turtle. What ever happened to Jelly anyway...

I've never heard of a rescue that orders brand new baby animals. They tend to be animals that are rescued....

Well where ever you ordered him from, ask for your money back. You got res/ybs intergrade not even a true ybs you ordered.
