Hi! Introduce yourselves here. :: fish owner new to turtles

So I already have a 44 gal fish tank at home and decided that turtles for my dorm room would be fun so I have a 30 gal tank and I'm thinkin about getting two mississippi map turtles. Prob going to leave the basking platform in the tank some how....... Any good ideas?

A lot of people make in tank basking areas out of PVC pipe and tile. I don't know if a 30 gallon tank would be big enough for two though.

Well it's just a starter tank for the babies. Soon enough I wanna get a bigger fish tank and then hopefully combine the two, or just get a bigger tank for both.
