Sounds like you are about to get some unfertilized eggs to me! Every time my Sylvie is gravid, the tank goes a little crazy. There is unusually aggression and she swims around like crazy. Do some searches on eggs and gravid females. Theres a lot to learn but it will come in handy because she may do it severral times in the future. Shes right at the size where it starts. Good luck!

Hi Mercedes, welcome to site! Since you have a male and female, you might be getting fertilized eggs. Your female will also want to nest frequently if they're mating. On a related note, if she's also wanting to get out, look out for any aggression from the male. He might be harassing her in which separation will be required.
