Hi!

My name is Roy (31, dancer/choreographer).
I'm Dutch and live in Amsterdam.
Recently i got two little turtles as a present. They're not RES but i was told they belong to the same family, i don't know their correct names in english. They are two different species. Yellow eared slider/Yellow belly slider would be the translation i guess.
Since i was told that the care for these turtles is sort of the same as for RES, i thought it would be a good idea to join this forum. When i was younger i succesfully raised six RES for 10 years, they eventually found a new home in a turtle park in Italy due to being too busy with my study (dancing). But it never hurts to get some additional information.

Below a link to a video I made.
It's really corny though, but you'll get a good view at their tank ;)

I know their tank will need replacement in a while since they will get bigger, but for now it should be okay.
I installed an external filter. Heat lamps, submersible heater, etc.

Welcome! Your tank is incredible!!! I am so jealous!!! Where did you find the rock that hides the hoses?

@ xfallwithmexo: Thanks :)
@ sflemin2: Thanks for the compliment! The rock is a "Turtle Cliff" from Exo Terra and inside it hides the heater and a internal filter. The hoses for the external cannister filter are hidden by the plants. (So the tank has two filters)
