Hi all, my name is Lyndsey and I've recently adopted a Red Eared Slider. There was a 30 gal tank w/ RES and 4 tetra fish on Craigslist for $75 so I went and got it about a month or two ago. They've all adjusted well and we named the turtle Ruben Tortuga. I've owned a dogs and cats for a long time, but have NO experience with turtles. I've asked around and can't seem to find anyone in my area, northeastern AL, with much turtle/RES experience or even a vet. Hope to find someone here who's close because I have a million questions! Going to surf the threads now to get some answers!!

My family is in Alex City, about 40 minutes from Auburn. I love it down there, let your turtle soak up some of that Alabama sun but keep an eye on him!
