Hello all I am new to this turtle thing. The only other pets I've ever had were dogs and that was years ago. I was gifted a 2yr old RES by a patient who was going to take her back but pet smart was closed. (Their 8yr old tried to eat her). So now she lives at home with me. I am really excited about having her because I now know they can live for 30+ years. I will add pics (just as soon as I figure out how). Any tips for a newbie?

She looks great. Being on this forum and reading all of the stickies and informative parts of this site is the best advice you'll get. I've found this site to be full of very nice helpful people who really care about turtles.
