hi, I have a new turtle as a gift. I've it for one month. I do not know how old it is. I think its about 3 inches long. Is it ok for me to pick her up. I think its a female. How can I tell?

ylu can't sex a turtle until 4". you can pick it up but i would try not to do it a lot. treat turtles like fish, just with better personalities

hello I just got light for the turtle now witch light goes under the basking area and witch one dose not!
