I bought my BF some turtles two Christmas's ago. He named one Morla (from the Never ending story) and the other Hiro (after the guy in Heros). Unfortunately Morla died only a month or so after we got her, we think it was probably due to RI since she was basking a lot and was gasping a lot. Hiro is doing pretty well, last week we upgraded him from a 30g to a 90g. He can't get enough of swimming up and down up and down. He hardly basks anymore, he only does it maybe 15 mins a time maybe twice or three times day. (I hope that isnt an issue) I made him jello shots from the recipe in this forum, he absolutely loves them. He used to only eat pellets and sometimes fruit, he would never eat his veggies. He has some white patches on his shell, I think they may be due to shedding, at least I hope that is what its from. I will post pics of that in a different topic once I can get some pics of it dry.

can he even get out to fully dry? the basking area looks submerged.

Yes, the back corner where the heat lamp is, I put his old dock in that corner so its higher up so he can get out of the water fully and dry off.
