I wish to say hello firstly, this is also the first time i ever register on a forum only for red eared sliders, or turtles for that matter.
I own an 11 year old, what i believe to be, a red eared slider, who apparently also is a male. Just a guess though.

I need all the help i could get, since i was very young when i got it, and good advice wasnt there for me since my family wasnt very used to animals.

The reason i got my beautiful little turtle? I fell in love with it at first sight in a pet store. out of so many siblings it had, this was the one for me.

Anyways, i could use some serious help and advice in order to take care of her.

Thank you, i also heard that about the claws, but not about the tail o.o Ill post a pic in the care part of the forum and see if i can make things clearer :'D
