Hey everyone, brand new member here, so here gos the ole standard intro post.

Ive loved turtles my whole life, and had always wanted a RES, but long story short i got 2 of em about a month ago :D .

Right now there both prety much hatchlings, one is a little over 2 inches long and the other alllllmost 2 inches, and they live in a big rubermaid container till i can afford a big enough tank, which ille use till i get an indoor pond setup. They share the water with 2 little fish (whos species i dont recall) and a Pleco i just introduced today whos 5" or 6" easy.

I know alot of you guys are really passionate when it comes to turtles, as am i, just really new to the whole thing. So just know im fully prepared to do whatever it takes for them to be happy as possible. Heres the only turtle related pic i have sofar but ill be takeing a bunch soon.

Keep in mind this is only temporary, but the turtles seem to be enjoying themselves sofar anyway.Heres some info for anybody who would like to share there opinion. Ive got em in a rubbermaid storage container with 2 water filters, a 15 gallon which i bought at first and 55 gallon which i got a week later after having to change the water every 3 days  im useing them both till i upgrade to a beefy one. The water is heated with a 50 W exo-terra "turtle heater" which is dooing its job nicely sofar. For lighting i got a 100 W "swamp glo" bulb for basking and a florescent UVB bulb from my lizard keeping days which i plan on upgradeing soon aswell.

Even though it's temporary it is so much better then the first set up I had for my turtle. I didn't even know about heaters and filters. My turtle was pretty much in a plain 10 gallon tank most of his life. No filter, basking area, heater, nothing. Oddly enough he never had any health problems. Well, except when I was feeding him a food that didn't have enough of a certain vitamin. Some turtle drops of some sort got him right as rain though. Now I've gotten him tricked out with all the necessities. :)
RES: Turtley - about 9" (She makes it a mission to measure her. :/)
Musk: Bolt - 4.5"
Mutt: Gaviota - small
