Greetings from the shores of Lake Superior. New to the site, I stumbled across this community while researching general care information for my 10-year-old son's (3) RES turtles: Buford, Cuff, and Link. Well, I enjoy the little fellas just as much as my son does, but the whole aggregate turtle community has pretty much been gifts to him.

I look forward to learning more about these interesting little creatures and their care from this site through it's members. I've already picked up on a few things pretty quick here. I will be sure to share all of this knowledge with my son.

Cheers

welcome to a great site. Three RES are quite a handful (especially when they get bigger). There are alot of great members on this site who know all sorts of great turtles stuff.

Thanks. I didn't really want three turtles, but I saved as many from the street as I thought we could handle. One of the three is headed to another home altogether once it gets bigger. Hopefully two can coexist in our 75 gallon aquarium for a few years, but I'm learning this stuff as we go along. If all else fails, our local kid's museum has a live RES display. I would prefer not to go this direction, ever, though.
