I found my turtle when I was 4 years old, I've had her for 14 years now. Her name is Glitter. She's was born in Dallas, TX but we now reside in Michigan.

Haha yeah the she was the size of a quarter when I found her so I'm assuming she's about 14. I'll post up some pictures sometime this week! =)

wow very kool. you must take good care of your little guy.
I have two female red ear sliders.
Chimpy - 5.5 inches
Chompy- 6.0 inches
Both were born about 7/2007
Got them -- 9/2007

I try to. I must admit, i've learned a lot of DO NOTS on this forum. She was wild when my mom found her (long story), so she tends to put up with a little bit more.

Glitter is an RES. Actually my mom was mowing the lawn at our old house and she practically ran over her. She thought she was just a leaf because she was so tiny. But then my mom saw the "leaf" move.. picked it up, and it was her! She wasn't hurt at all thank the lord.. we've had her ever since!
