I have a 4 1/2 yr old Red Slider along with a few other pets. We "think" our turtle is a female. We got her very young and she was originally my daughter's who had NO idea how quickly she would grow. She quickly passed her on to her younger brother. My son was super excited.

Thanks for the welcome messages. She is about 4 1/2 yrs old and we have had her for just over 4 yrs. She started out as my oldest daughter's and now she belongs to my youngest son. :-)

I will share pictures soon. I have several but not loaded on this computer. I am still not sure about the pest repeller plug ins. I hope to get some answers as we don't want to hurt her.
