Well, I've been in the Turtle Hobby as of now, a full day.
My RES I was asked if I'd like to adopt the RES. Some friend impulse bought three of the little critters, and I spoke my interest in owning one. I've gone through this site and I think I will make this a regular place for myself.
I don't have a habitat yet, but I have till the 11th to have my habitat ready for the Turtle. I'm moving into a 1x1 apartment, with a six foot patio. My mom had suggested a small plastic swimming pool but I don't have the room.

well of course with out the lid and probably 2foot by 4foot or 2 foot by 2foot, something along the lines. Do you think this would be an ideal habitat to start with until I can get an aquarium?
As well I have named the RES Bruno, I don't have a picture of the turtle as since they've only been with us for about a day, and I didn't want to scare the little turtles. But that is all, and once again I really like this sight and am glad I did a search on the internet about RES
