hey guys, i just wanted to introduce myself on these boards before i start doing anything. im tristan
im 14 and i have had my RES harold for 2 years
we are bffz.
heres a recent picture of him

i say he because my friend also got an RES which grew to be three times the size of harold within a year, so im predicting harold is a boy. right now harold resides in a 20 gallon tank which i know is a little small but im saving up for a larger tank. he loves carrots, shrimp and the occasional lettuce but he eats reptomin turtle pellets daily. his favourite things to do are bask on his dock and eat.

Harold looks good. I'd love to see more pictures of him and his tank. Good to hear you're giving him vegetables. Do you ever give him live food?

Since Harold is 2 years old at least, I guess he's actually a she looking at the front
nails. Harold looks healthy though, you know what to do regarding feeding.

Good luck with getting a larger tank. And I'm sure you know about gravel being
a no-no, especially it looks like Harold's head is larger than the stones already.

no robin i havent given him any live food yet, but i think i might go out and buy a few fish for him
BTW, he had a roomate named wanda, she was a pleco, she didnt last long.
so i guess that would be considered live food...
and kemul since this picture was taken i did take out those stones and put large stones in
