Hi, we just got our very first turtles and are very excited. We have 2 turtles, Romeo and Juliet. They are about 4 years old and very cute! And holy cow are they affectionate to each other! lol I came across this site looking for ideas of how to set up a basking area for them. We look forward to getting to know everyone here and hopefully learning tons about the care of our new pets.

welcome. you'll see several threads with people posting their basking areas and sharing their step by step how to guides. it's nice getting ideas from all the really crafty people on this site. where you can get new ideas and incorporate one persons ideas with yours or another person on this site. you're going to love this site. its awesome!

We are working on our basking area and will hopefully have it done soon. There are a lot of great ideas here.
